Annual Report Printing NYC – Case Study: The International Rescue Committee | New York City
“The mission of the International Rescue Committee (IRC) is to help people whose lives and livelihoods are shattered by conflict and disaster to survive, recover and gain control of their future”.
In 2018, when the International Rescue Committee needed to produce their most critical communication piece – their 2017 Annual Report – they began a search for the most accomplished printer in New York City. They chose not only the premier printer in New York City, but the greenest printer as well; Earth Enterprise. In doing so, the IRC was entrusting their most impactful document – to be produced by a proven team of gifted craftspeople – with both the experience and creativity needed to make this unique piece stand-out and implore its readers to give.
When the IRC contacted us, they were looking for a local partner to help them with idea’s – and to make sure that their Annual Report was both visually and physically compelling”, says Charles Cure, Team Lead for Earth Enterprise. “Our goal was to generate an Annual Report that not only conveyed their mission, but inspired the reader to turn every page to see how beautiful that mission is”.
Here are some highlights of the IRC’s efforts:
- Helped nearly 23 million people access primary health care.
- Provided 1.14 million children with schooling and education opportunities.
- Trained 44,670 educators and supported 10,791 schools.
- In 32 countries, 366,500 households benefited from IRC’s economic recovery and development programs and those of its partner organizations.
- Trained 19,616 farmers in agriculture and agribusiness, and provided 19,037 farmers with access to markets and farm resources including seeds and fertilizers.
