NYC Printed Google Influencer Box For Pixel 9

Google’s iconic Pixel 9 required hi-tech packaging for Tech Influencers….Earth Enterprise delivered the WOW… 

When a prominent New York agency reached out on behalf of Google, they looked for the best and brightest printer to fulfill their request for creative leading edge packaging.

Earth Enterprise was their go-to printer.  The project involved the design and production of a stylish hi-tech box with spectacular added features to introduce Googles iconic Pixel 9 phone.

The Earth Enterprise team went to work, overcoming the challenge of not only multiple components required for the project, but sensor lighting as well. In the process, two prototypes were designed and created, and while there was an option to produce the packaging in China, EE proudly went with a “Made in America” option.

The design was a complicated one and some of the components included a lucite encasement (provided to EE), nested in a high density foam casing.  

A “well” was created within the foam, directly beneath the lucite case, which housed an LED strip of lights. The idea was that when the well was exposed to light, the light strip was triggered.  The light strip was powered by hidden batteries and also included a small tube in the back of the design so upon opening the box, the lights were triggered and remained on for 60 seconds.  This aspect of the project, while challenging, required at least two iterations before the EE team was satisfied with the end result..

The stylish black box was constructed with turned edge, black soft touch paper, high density foam and embossed silver foil. 

 An impressive 8 weeks was the time it took, from start to finish – design to shipment, and 615 all-inclusive hi-tech boxes were produced and shipped to California.
